This is an exciting time in the field of biological psychology - amazing discoveries are emerging all the time. Consequently, we know more about the brain than we ever have before. At the same time, we haven't begun to make a dent in what the brain can really do. It is amazing to me, for example, that memory has been studied experimentally for over 100 years, yet we still don't have a complete understanding of how that critical mechanism works.
Over the course of this semester, I am hoping we can use this blog to discuss some of these new and exciting findings, while maintaining a skeptical eye. You, as students, should feel free to use this forum as a place to express any comments, opinions, and questions you might have.
